It’s only been just over 2 weeks since the train went away to the engine shed for it’s makeover, but look at how much progress has been made so far! The engine has had a thorough wipe down and sanding, and is now looking rather ghostly with it’s white undercoat. The white undercoat gives the Monday Shedders a clean canvas upon which to put the final (new) paint colour, but in the meantime they have started work on reinstating the black fire box, footplate, and seat. Thank you to everyone who has worked on the train so far, it’s looking ace!
